Acrylic is a composite material which contains aluminum trihydrate and polymerized acrylic resin as a binder. The color pigments added to this mixture, ensure a varied appearance of the acrylic sheets, from homogeneous, unicoloured pieces to stone appearance and terrazzo variations.
The perfectly proportioned mixture of the components genrates the exceptionally favorable properties of the acrylic sheet. Which are: waterproof, steam-proof, acid-proof, alkali-proof, mould-proof, antibacterial, does not corrode, does not swell. It is insensitive to the changes of the temperature and humidity of the air. It is the proper material for surfaces with frequent usage.
The advantages of furniture made of acrylic material: maximum hygiene, easy cleanability, aesthetic appearance, pleasant touch and thermal sensation, durability, good repairability. The counter surfaces are perfectly refurbishable. It is perfectly homogeneous, surfaces can be made without joints or with invisible joints.
